Westminster At Lake Ridge Plans Independent Living Expansion In Virginia

The CCRC will add two buildings to house 24 residential units, as well as an art studio and gathering areas.

Westminster at Lake Ridge, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Lake Ridge, Va., plans to break ground on an independent living expansion that will add 24 units, according to citybiz.co.

The 62-acre CCRC acquired two additional acres for the development, which will integrate two buildings south of the existing footprint.

In addition to the residential units, the expansion will add an art studio and common areas for gatherings.

Residential units will be available in three floor plans, ranging from 1,400 to 1,600 square feet. All units will include private balconies.

Construction is expected to begin in 2026 and be completed in 2027.
