Wesley Choice Completes CCRC Redevelopment In Des Moines, Washington

Wesley Choice (Kent, Wash.), a faith-based nonprofit housing and healthcare services organization, completed the third and final phase of a 10-year redevelopment plan at Wesley Des Moines in Des Moines, Washington, according to a news release.

The latest phase of the continuing care retirement community (CCRC) adds 18 independent living units, 50 assisted living units, 70 skilled nursing units, and 26 memory care units. Added amenities include a lap pool, spa, chapel, exercise room, and skywalk.

Previous phases of the project added a 5-story, 151-unit independent living building in 2020 and a 2-story, 24-unit building in 2018.

The project team includes InSite Architects (architect and designer; San Antonio, Texas) and developer Senior Housing Partners (Roseville, Minn.).
