Waltonwood Senior Living Plans New Assisted Living And Memory Care Community In Raleigh, North Carolina

Waltonwood Senior Living (West Bloomfield Township, Mich.) unveiled plans for Waltonwood Lead Mine, an assisted living and memory care community, in Raleigh, N.C., according to the newspaper The News & Observer.

On a 5-acre site, the community will consist of 95 units, including 30 units in a memory care neighborhood.

Resident amenities will include fitness rooms, spa, salon and a large exterior courtyard, dining areas with exterior views, a café with indoor and outdoor seating options, activity and game rooms, theater, and multiple lounges with fireplaces.

The project team includes architect Cline Design (Raleigh, N.C.), general contractor Choate Construction (Raleigh, N.C.), developer Singh Development (West Bloomfield Township), engineering firm Lighthouse Engineering (Raleigh, N.C.), structural engineer Hauser-Creech (Zebulon, N.C.), and food service consultants Trimark (Winston-Salem, N.C.)
