Viamonte At Walnut Creek Awarded LEED Gold Certification

The California community received LEED Gold Certification for its sustainable site development, water savings, and energy efficiency.

Viamonte at Walnut Creek in Walnut Creek, Calif., recently received LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.

Owned by Sequoia Living (San Francisco), the community includes 191 independent living, assisted living, and memory care units.

The project was designed by HKIT Architects (Oakland, Calif.), Lowney Architecture (Oakland), and StudioSix5 (Austin, Texas).
