Commercial real estate developer United Properties (Minneapolis) plans to expand Amira Minnetonka, a 55+ independent living community, with the addition of Amira Villas Minnetonka in Minnetonka, Minn., according to a news release.
Situated on 2.3 acres, the project will consist of eight 3-story buildings with a total of 30 single-level, two- and three-bedroom villas. Floor plans range from 1,570 square feet to 2,225 square feet and include private garages.
The community will be operated by Great Lakes Management (Minneapolis).
The project team includes RT Residential (general contractor; Lakeville, Minn.) and Whitten Associates (master planner; Florence, Ala.).
