Faith-based, nonprofit ThriveMore (Winston-Salem, N.C.), formerly Baptist Retirement Homes of North Carolina, is planning a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in New Bern, N.C., according to the website newbernsj.com.
The senior living community will be situated on 11 acres in Carolina Colours, a residential community.
Plans include 202 independent living units and 32 units for assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. The memory care and skilled nursing units will designed using the small-home model.
