Watermark Retirement Communities (Tucson, Ariz.) and real estate investor Hines (Houston) opened The Watermark at Houston Heights, a luxury independent living, assisted living, and memory care community in Houston.

The seven-story, 222-unit community includes a seventh-floor terrace and lounge with downtown skyline views, fitness center, multiple wellness venues, curated art gallery space and studio, movie theater, library, heated outdoor swimming pool, activities lawn, salon and spa, virtual-reality lounge, and golf simulator.

The project team includes Munoz + Albin Architecture & Planning (designer; Houston) and Looney & Associates (interior designer; Dallas).
