The Summit CCRC Plans $80M Expansion In Lynchburg, Virginia

The Summit, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Lynchburg, Va., is undergoing an $80 million expansion, according to the website wset.com.

The project will add new independent living cottages and villas.

Additionally, a 30,000-square-foot community center with a pool, dining venues, and tavern will be built on the campus. The community center is slated for completion by 2025.

As part of the expansion, the CCRC also recently opened the new Blueridge Commons and Cafe.
