Developer PMB (San Diego) and owner-operator The Springs Living (McMinnville, Ore.) held a grand opening ceremony for The Springs at The Waterfront, a new senior living community in Vancouver, Wash., according to a news release.
The project is part of a master-planned development for the Vancouver Waterfront which includes 7 acres of parks, residential apartments, offices, hotels, and walkable retail and restaurants.
The 12-story, 360,000-square-foot community houses 182 independent living units, 48 assisted living units, and 20 memory care units.
Residents will have access to a spa, wellness center, indoor pool, and multiple dining venues. The community was designed to meet LEED Gold Certification requirements for energy efficiency.
The project team includes design and architecture firm GBD Architects (Portland, Ore.) and general contractor Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company (Portland).
