Focus Healthcare Partners (Chicago) and Chelsea Senior Living (operator; Fanwood, N.J.) plan to start this spring on a $50 million renovation of The Sinclair at Port Washington in Port Washington, N.Y., according to Long Island Business News.

The renovation draws inspiration from the character and landscape of Long Island’s North Shore. The independent living community will update residences, dining venues, wellness amenities, and common spaces, including the lobby and reception area, lounge and bar, game rooms, and wine cellar with a speakeasy-style setting.

Meyer Design (Ardmore, Pa.) will serve as the architect.
