The Jewish Home To Add 125 Senior Living Units In Brighton, New York

The Jewish Home (Rochester, N.Y.) is expanding its Brighton Campus with the addition of 125 units in Brighton, N.Y., according to a news release.

The project will construct Lilac Grove, a new 90-unit community, and add 35 independent-living units to The Summit, another community on the same campus, both for residents ages 62 and older.

The 4-story Lilac Grove community will consist of one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 600 square feet to 860 square feet.

Amenities will include a community room, exercise facility, deli, salon, outdoor patio with fire pits, walking paths, and a pond with fountains.

The Summit expansion will consist of one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 1,099 square feet to 1,499 square feet, each with a balcony or patio, in a new 4-story building.

New amenities will include a movie theater, community center, fitness and wellness center, pickleball court, mini market, and four dining venues.

The project will also renovate all common areas on the first floor of the existing Summit building. In addition to independent living, The Summit is a continuing care retirement community offering assisted living and skilled nursing.
