Wilks Development (Cisco, Texas) is planning a new senior living community adjacent to the historic Fort Worth Public Market building in Fort Worth, Texas, according to an article in papercitymag.com.

The Harden at Public Market will comprise 200 one- and two-bedroom units above a single-story parking garage. The senior living community will be adjacent to the southwest corner of the Public Market structure, which will be restored.

The site will be connected by a landscaped outdoor greenspace and courtyard for residents. Additional amenities will include a dog park and pickleball courts adjacent to the community. Additionally, the Public Market will include amenities for senior living residents, such as a fitness center, co-working areas, and lounge.

The project team includes BokaPowell Architects (architect; Fort Worth) and Kimley-Horn (civil engineer and landscape architect; Fort Worth).
