Stevens Square at Baxter Woods in Portland, Maine, is expanding the 55+ active adult community, according to constructionowners.com.
Construction has started on Building Three, which will add 28 condominium units to the community. Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2027.
The project team includes Optimum Construction (Danvers, Maine) as the general contractor.
The Stevens Square community features a village-style design and includes healthcare services, retail destinations, and Stevens Square Community Center, a converted high school that houses recreation and fitness space, a theater, and dining options.
