Sol Housing Begins Construction On Farolito Senior Community In Albuquerque, New Mexico

The 82-unit mixed-income community will include affordable housing options.

Affordable housing developer Sol Housing (Albuquerque, N.M.) broke ground on Farolito Senior Community in Albuquerque, according to a news release.

The 82-unit mixed-income community will include affordable housing options, and is being built on state land in partnership with the New Mexico State Land Office.

The community will be located across from Sol Housing’s Luminaria Senior Community, a 92-unit, 55+ community built in 2022.

Architecture and design firm Dekker (Albuquerque) did the conceptual design on the project.
