Co-developers Rupco (Catskill, N.Y.) and Girondini LLC (Marlboro, N.Y.) opened Silver Gardens, an affordable senior living community in Highland, N.Y., according to a news release.
The 62+ community houses 57 units in an all-electric building that features a geothermal heating and cooling system and Energy Star-rated appliances.
Six of the units are designed to accommodate residents with mobility impairments, and three units are designed for residents with sensory disabilities.
