Presbyterian Homes & Services (Roseville, Minn.) and Mercy Medical Center (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) opened HallMar Village, an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community on Mercy’s Cedar Rapids campus, according to the website corridorbusiness.com.
HallMar Village replaced Mercy’s Hallmar residential care facility, which opened in 1960.
Situated on 42 aces, the new 237-unit senior living community includes a village center with a chapel, community room, conservatory, restaurant-style dining, casual bistro, and wellness center.
Other resident amenities include a salon/spa, theater, outdoor gardens, and walking trails.
HallMar Village is connected to The Chris & Suzy DeWolf Family Innovation Center for Aging & Dementia of Mercy, which provides services to support people living with dementia, care partners, and families.
Senior Housing Partners (Roseville) is the project’s developer.
