Faith-based, nonprofit Pleasant View Communities has started construction on Hershey Farm Cottages, an independent senior living community south of Pleasant View’s main campus in Manheim, Pa., according to lancasteronline.com.
The $30 million project will consist of 86 independent living units ranging from 1,274 to 1,796 square feet. Of the 86 units, 10 are singles and the remainder are duplexes.
Some of the units are expected to be ready for residents by summer 2025, with completion of all units scheduled for 2026.
