Continuing care retirement community Phoebe Ministries (Allentown, Pa.) is planning to open Chestnut Ridge at Rodale, in Emmaus, Pa., this month, according to the website lvb.com.
The 60+ independent living community is located on the former 38-acre Rodale Publishing campus and houses 126 units spread across two buildings.
The North Building houses one- and two-bedroom units surrounding a central courtyard, as well as a first-floor restaurant with a pub. The South Building features a horseshoe design with a grand courtyard and space for residents to entertain. An outdoor amphitheater is built into the land behind the building.
Residents will also have access to a fitness center, indoor pool, grab-and-go marketplace, beauty salon, and dedicated dog washing station.
