A groundbreaking ceremony was held to mark the start of construction on a redevelopment project to turn the former Philipsburg State Hospital in Philipsburg, Pa., into a senior living community, according to wjactv.com.
The 55+ community will house 66 independent living units in a 5-story building and is expected to open in 2027.
