Peterson Commons Affordable Senior Housing Breaks Ground In Woodbridge Township, New Jersey

The project will deliver a 3-story building with 60 units prioritizing military veterans.

Pennrose LLC (developer; Philadelphia) has broken ground on Peterson Commons, a new 55+ affordable senior living community in Woodbridge Township, N.J., according to a news release.

Developed as a private-public partnership with the township and state, the community will prioritize veteran housing and comprise a 3-story building with 60 one- and two-bedroom units. Amenities will include a community room and laundry facilities.

The building is designed to meet Zero Energy Ready Home (ZERH) standards for efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2027.
