Perkins Eastman and insurance broker RSA Real Estate (Guayaquil and Quito, Ecuador) are planning a medical city with a senior living community and healthcare facilities in Samborondon, Ecuador.
The senior living community will include a 250,000-square-foot, 128-unit independent living community.
The site will also house a 86-bed hospital, two 55,000-square-foot medical practice towers, two 160,000-square-foot office towers, two 160,000-square-foot hotels, and centers of excellence for OB-GYN, neonatology, oncology, and orthopedics services.
The project will be situated on 308 acres spread across three islands bordering the Babahoyo River.
