Nonprofit Asia Pacific Cultural Center (Tacoma, Wash.) and nonprofit housing provider Low Income Housing Institute (Seattle) opened Patsy Surh Place, a 55+ affordable housing community in Tacoma, according to the website asiapacificculturalcenter.org.
The 6-story project features 47 studio apartments and 30 one-bedroom units.
Residents have access to a community lounge, multipurpose room, gallery space, outdoor courtyard, and laundry facilities.
The project team includes Weber Thompson (architect; Seattle) and Walsh Construction Co. (contractor; Seattle).
