Pacifica Senior Living, an assisted living, independent living, and memory care community in Ellensburg, Wash., has transformed part of the community into an alternate care facility for COVID-positive and recovering patients, according to an article in the Daily Record.

The Kittitas County Incident Management Team has partnered with Kittitas Valley Healthcare (Ellensburg, Wash.), KVH Hospice (Ellensburg), and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (Tacoma, Wash.) to set up 14 rooms at Pacifica for COVID-19 patients who do not require acute care or services like ventilation.

The facility will be managed by the Kittitas County Incident Management Team and will be in place as long as needed, according to the article.
