Nonprofit real estate development NHP Foundation (New York) broke ground on Park Heights Senior Apartments, an affordable senior living community in Baltimore, according to the website multihousingnews.com.

The $52 million project is the first phase of the Park Heights Major Development, a revitalization plan for the neighborhood.

The 100-unit senior living community will house one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Residents will have access to a fitness center, library, computer center, coffee bar, kitchen, and lounges.

The project is expected to be completed in mid-2025 and will be designed to meet the National Green Building Standards for energy efficiency with solar panels on the rooftop, carport, and gazebo, as well as battery storage.
