Oak Trace in Downers Grove, Ill., unveiled its renovated independent living building. The senior living community includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled care, and rehabilitation care.
The project included renovating the Oak Room, a formal restaurant-style dining room; the Lounge, a casual gathering space offering cocktails and small-plate items; the library; art studio; and lobby.
The independent living project is part of a three-phase campus project. Future plans include adding 140 luxury independent living units, a fitness and aquatic center, spa, and performing arts center.
