Owner/operator MorningStar Senior Living (Denver) broke ground on an independent living expansion at MorningStar Senior Living of Pasadena in Pasadena, Calif., according to a news release.
The project will add 76 independent living units in a new 5-story building. Amenities will include a pool, spa, and fitness center.
The Pasadena campus comprises 116 independent and assisted living units and a 28-suite memory care neighborhood. The expansion will connect to the existing community at the ground level.
The project team includes KTGY (architect; Vienna, Va.), Aneka Interiors (interior designer; Denver), and Snyder Langston (general contractor; Irvine, Calif.).
The project is expected to be completed in summer 2026.
