Miles Crossing Senior Residences held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark its grand opening in Columbus, Ga., according to the Ledger-Enquirer.
The $26 million development comprises 80 one-bedroom units and 10 two-bedroom units for residents ages 55 and older. Community amenities include a business center, fitness center, and movie theater.
The new building, which features dual wings in a U shape around an outdoor courtyard, was built on the site of the former Booker T. Washington Apartments, which were demolished in 2015.
