Silverado (Irvine, Calif) is nearing completion of a memory care community in Thousand Oaks, Calif., according to an article in Business Wire.

Situated on 2 acres, the two-story, 37,000-square-foot community will accommodate 82 residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-impaired conditions.

The design will incorporate skylights and a sunroom, offering residents a connection to daylight and outdoor views, as well as a safety measures, such as flat, lean handrails in the hallways to reduce fall risks.
