Masonicare (Wallingford, Conn.), a provider of assisted living, independent living, and memory care services, has opened a new memory care unit in Wallingford, according to the website myrecordjournal.com.
The new unit has room for 17 residents and includes a sunroom and Snoezelen multisensory room, which features glow-in-the-dark sensory tools, a heated chair for relaxation, and tactile stimulation.
