Marquette, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Indianapolis, has started construction on the first phase of a $102 million expansion project, according to Current Publishing.
The Terraces II development introduces a new independent living component called The Flats, with 25 stacked, single-story homes. The project also adds 69 apartments with fireplaces and multiple floor plan options.
New and upgraded amenities are planned, including The Commons, a gathering space with indoor sports courts and waterfront lounge areas; restaurant-style dining venues; and additional underground and surface parking.
The expansion is designed to seamlessly integrate with existing community amenities, such as an athletic club, natatorium, resident garden, chapel, tavern, and creative art spaces.
