Manhattan Avenue Senior Apartments Affordable Senior Living Community Completed In Greenburgh, New York

Developer Georgica Green Ventures (Jericho, N.Y.) has completed Manhattan Avenue Senior Apartments, an affordable senior housing community for residents age 62 and older in Greenburgh, N.Y., according to multihousingnews.com.

The $38-million, 70-unit project was developed in conjunction with the Greenburgh Housing Authority (White Plains, N.Y.) and the New York State Homes and Community Renewal program (Albany, N.Y.).

The community includes a computer room, a commercial kitchen, laundry room, and 50 parking spaces.

The three-story project involved the demolition of six dilapidated buildings. Featuring sustainable elements such as Energy Star appliances and water conserving low-flow fixtures, it meets Enterprise Green Communities 2015 standards.
