Developer Georgica Green Ventures (Jericho, N.Y.) has completed Manhattan Avenue Senior Apartments, an affordable senior housing community for residents age 62 and older in Greenburgh, N.Y., according to multihousingnews.com.
The $38-million, 70-unit project was developed in conjunction with the Greenburgh Housing Authority (White Plains, N.Y.) and the New York State Homes and Community Renewal program (Albany, N.Y.).
The community includes a computer room, a commercial kitchen, laundry room, and 50 parking spaces.
The three-story project involved the demolition of six dilapidated buildings. Featuring sustainable elements such as Energy Star appliances and water conserving low-flow fixtures, it meets Enterprise Green Communities 2015 standards.
