Developer Lowcountry Housing Communities (Charleston, S.C.), in partnership with the Greenville Housing Fund (Greenville, S.C.), held a groundbreaking ceremony for Southpointe Senior Residences, a new 55+ affordable senior living community in Greenville, S.C., according to the Greenville Journal.
The community will house 90 one- and two-bedroom units, a community center, business center, and fitness center.
Construction is expected to take 18 months to complete.
