Nonprofit Knute Nelson (Alexandria, Minn.) is growing its memory care facilities at Crystal Brook Senior Living in Park Rapids, Minn., according to the website parkavenueenterprise.com.
The project will add 20 new units, bringing the community’s total to 38 memory care units. Crystal Brook has 88 units in all, including 69 for independent and assisted living, according to a company news release. With the expansion, the firm expects to add 16 positions to its staff of 72.
Innovative Builders Inc. (Alexandria) is the general contractor on the project, which is estimated to cost $5.24 million and expected to open in May.
