Owner Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS; Roseville, Minn.) broke ground on an independent living expansion at Kirkland Crossings in Pewaukee, Wis., according to a news release.
The project will add a free-standing, 4-story building housing 77 independent living units to the senior living community’s existing 144 units. The community currently houses 60 independent living units, 22 townhomes, 40 assisted living units, and 20 memory care units.
The site also features ponds, prairie meadows, and foot trails.
The expansion will also house a club lounge and fitness center.
The project team will include architect AG Architecture (Wauwatosa, Wis.), general contractor CG Schmidt Construction (Milwaukee), and developer Senior Housing Partners (Roseville), a division of PHS.
