Jefferson’s Ferry, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in South Setauket, N.Y., is planning to expand.

The 12,000-square-foot expansion project includes adding 75 new independent living units featuring one- and two-bedroom plus den units, a memory care community, and a wellness and rehabilitation center.

Amenities such as a new marketplace cafe, bistro and bar, and a “destination dining room” that offers alternating types of cuisines also will be added.

Greystone Communities (Irving, Texas) serves as the development consultant; KDA Architects (Voorhees, N.J.) is providing master planning and architectural design; and Merlino Design (Prussia, Pa.) is the interior design firm on the project.
