Iroquois Senior Living Community Under Construction In Louisville, Kentucky

The 60-unit affordable independent living project will be part of a larger intergenerational housing development.

The Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LHMA; Louisville, Ky.) held a groundbreaking ceremony for Iroquois Senior Living Community in Louisville, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal.

The affordable independent living senior community will consist of 60 units in a three-story building.

The senior living project is part of a larger intergenerational housing development, Iroquois Homes, that comprises 456 housing units on 46 acres, including single-family homes, multifamily duplexes, row houses, and walk-up units.

The project team includes design firm Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects (Louisville).
