Intergenerational CCRC Opens On Arizona State University Campus

The 20-story, $252 million Mirabella at ASU features independent living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation units.

Nonprofit developer Pacific Retirement Services (Medford, Ore.) and Arizona State University (ASU; Tempe, Ariz.) have opened Mirabella at ASU, a 62+ continuing care retirement community on the ASU campus in Tempe, Az., according to an article on asunow.com.

The 20-story, $252 million intergenerational living community features 246 independent living units, as well as memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation units.

Four restaurants, including a ground-floor bistro that will eventually be open to the public, are part of the 613,000-square-foot community. Amenity spaces include an indoor pool and wellness center, physical therapy gym, theater, art museum, event and lecture hall, game rooms, salon and spa, and dog park. Residents also have access to classes and amenities on the ASU campus.

The project team includes McCarthy Building Companies Inc. (construction; Phoenix).
