Highlands Ranch Metro District (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) hit a construction milestone on the Highlands Ranch Senior Center project in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Slated to open in early 2024, the 15,600-square-foot facility will offer services and programs for 55+ seniors and their families, including a satellite office for the Douglas County Health & Human Services (Castle Rock, Colo.) to access health and social services.

Additionally, the center will house a health club, three activity rooms for classes and group activities, and a 240-person event space with an adjoining prep kitchen.

Denver-based Oz Architecture is the architect on the project.
