Lakeside Companies (Coeur d’Alene, Idaho) and affiliate Hemmingson Senior Living (Coeur d’Alene) have started construction on Hemmingson Senior Living at The Trails, a new senior living community in Coeur d’Alene, according to spokanejournal.com.
The community will house 80 assisted living units in five single-story buildings on the south side of a 6-acre site and 20 independent living senior cottages on the north side.
Amenities will include the Willow Stream Salon & Spa in the main building of the assisted living neighborhood. Each assisted living building will also include a common great room, open kitchen, dining room, library, and laundry facilities. A secured courtyard will be centered among the five assisted living homes.
Independent living residents will have full access to The Retreat, a community center with an indoor gym, coffee and win bar, billiards room, library lounge, plaza and patio, fire pit, pickleball courts, and barbecue area.
The project team includes Forté Architecture & Planning (architect; Coeur d’Alene) and Architerra Construction (contractor; Coeur d’Alene), an affiliate of Lakeside Companies.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2027.
