Heirloom At Rome Community In Las Vegas Targeting LEED Gold

The 276-unit affordable senior living community features high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, EnergyStar appliances, low-flow fixtures and drought-tolerant landscaping.

Multifamily and affordable senior housing developer Heirloom by Ovation (Las Vegas) has opened Heirloom at Rome affordable senior living community on a 9.5-acre site in Las Vegas’ northwest valley, according to nevadabusiness.com.

The $78 million affordable senior living project houses 276 residential units, including 38 400- square-foot homes and one- and two-bedroom apartments.

Amenities include a fitness room, movement studio, screening room, game lounge, great room, business center, wellness room, and a 1-story clubhouse. Outdoor amenities feature a community garden, pet park, and picnic tables.

The community was designed and built to achieve U.S. Green Building Council LEED Gold certification, with high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, EnergyStar appliances, and vinyl thermal pan windows.

Water conservation measures include low-flow fixtures and drought-tolerant landscaping.
