Goodwin Living (Alexandria, Va.) plans to expand The View Alexandria by adding two new towers to its campus in Alexandria, according to alxnow.com.
The project will add 257 total units, including 68 one-bedroom units and 149 two-bedroom units for independent living, 14 one-bedroom units and two two-bedroom units for assisted living, and a 24-unit skilled nursing/memory care neighborhood.
The two new towers will be 14 to 16 stories and be connected by a 2-story podium that will have an outdoor terrace on its roof. The first two floors will house amenity spaces and administrative offices.
The View Alexandria currently consists of a 5-story medical building and 6-story residential building that houses 126 units for independent living and assisted living.
