Sanford Health (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and senior living provider The Good Samaritan Society (Sioux Falls) are planning to break ground on Good Samaritan Society – Founder’s Crossing, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Sioux Falls, according to the website news.sanfordhealth.org.
The community will include independent living, assisted living, and memory care services; short-term rehabilitation and long-term care center; home-based services; life enrichment programs; a Sanford Health clinic; and drugstore.
The project is scheduled to be completed in phases with the first 146 villas, 120 independent living units, 32 assisted living units, and 32 memory care units expected to open in spring/summer 2026.
The remainder of the project, including the rehabilitation and care center, additional villas, health clinic, and drugstore are slated to open between 2026-2028.
