Georgia To Welcome $143M CCRC

Presbyterian Village Athens’ independent living offering will include a mix of cottages, villas, and apartment homes.

Presbyterian Village Athens, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Athens, Ga., is slated to open early this year.

The $143 million community will feature 103 cottages, 12 villas, and 100 apartment homes for independent living residents, along with 100 units for assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services.

Amenities will include walking trails, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, indoor saltwater pool, pub and billiards room, hair salon, and multiple dining venues.

The project team includes RW Allen Construction (construction; Augusta, Ga.).
