Environments for Aging magazine has announced three winners and two finalists in its 3rd annual Dining Competition, which celebrates outstanding planning and design in dining spaces for senior living.
Submissions are evaluated by a jury of industry experts, including architects, interior designers, providers, and industry consultants, on three key criteria: food, experience, and design.
The 2025 Dining Competition winners are:
- Platinum winner (first place): John Knox Village (Pompano Beach, Fla.), submitted by Perkins Eastman (New York)
- Gold winner (second place): The Davis Community (Wilmington, N.C.), submitted by Lantz Boggio Architects (LB/A; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)
- Silver winner (third place): The Farmstead by Resthaven (Holland, Mich.), submitted by THW Design (Atlanta)
Additionally, these projects were named finalists in the 2025 Dining Competition:
- EverTrue Luther Crest (Allentown, Pa.), submitted by Noelker and Hull Architects (Chambersburg, Pa.)
- Royal Oaks Retirement Community (Sun City, Ariz.), submitted by SCOPOS Hospitality Group (Ephrata, Pa.) and The HUB Design Innovation (Charlotte, N.C.)
Profiles of the Platinum, Gold, and Silver winners will be featured in a special supplement on efamagazine.com and in the fall issue of Environments for Aging magazine.
