Emerald Heights, a continuing care retirement community in Redmond, Wash., added a new independent living residential building.
The three-story, 42-unit Courtyard building offers six unit designs, including one-bedroom, one-bedroom with a den, two-bedroom, and two-bedroom with a den models.
Underground parking, an entry plaza, shared outdoor spaces, and meeting areas on each floor are also included in the project.
The $63 million project was designed by architect Rice Fergus Miller (Bremerton, Wash.) and built by GLY Construction (Bellevue, Wash.).
Emerald Heights is also planning a new $55 million assisted living community, FirView, which will include 54 one-bedroom units, dining, activity rooms, and a sky-bridge connecting the main buildings.
