Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) Communities, a Chicago-based nonprofit developer, owner, and operator of affordable rental apartments, completed renovations at Elgin Manor, an affordable senior living community, in Elgin, Ill., according to the website dailyherald.com
The 14-month project added new windows, air conditioning, appliances, and flooring and upgraded the bathrooms in the residential units.
Additional site improvements include a modernized community room and lobby, new lighting and elevators, improved security and HVAC systems, and new landscaping.
