EFA Names Winners Of 2022 Remodel/Renovation Competition

The program recognizes achievements in revitalizing single spaces within senior living environments.

Environments for Aging announced the winners of its 14th Annual Remodel/Renovation Competition, a program that celebrates outstanding work in reimagining a single space within a senior living community.

A jury of industry experts, including architects, interior designers, consultants, and providers, was appointed by association partner SAGE to review and score submissions.

Here are the winning projects:

Gold
Shenandoah Memory Care at The Virginian – Memory Care Common Space (Fairfax, Va.), submitted by Focus Healthcare Partners

Silver
Masonic Pathways – Dining Room (Alma, Mich.), submitted by Hobbs+Black Architects

Bronze
The Meadows of Napa Valley – Dining Room (Napa, Calif.), submitted by Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects Inc.

Winners will receive special recognition at the 2023 Environments for Aging Conference + Expo to be held April 15-18, 2023, in Charlotte, N.C. Coverage of the Remodel/Renovation Competition will be published in the Winter 2022 issue of EFA.
