Affordable housing developer NeighborWorks Housing Solutions (Quincy, Mass.) is planning a new senior living community as part of Cranberry Manor, an existing multifamily apartment complex in Wareham, Mass., according to theweektoday.com.

Cranberry Manor II will sit behind the existing complex and house 40 one-bedroom units for low-income senior living. The 62+ community will also feature common spaces, such as a multipurpose room and wellness room. Plans include removing an unused basketball court and adding green spaces around the property.

The developer expects to start construction on the project this fall.
