Development partners Volunteers of America National Services (Euless, Texas) and Dallas Housing Authority Housing Solutions for North Texas (Dallas) held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on The Culbreath, a new 62+ affordable senior living community in Dallas, according to a news release.
The 268,000-square-foot project will house 270 one-bedroom and 94 two-bedroom units, as well as a fitness room, business center, library and game room
Residents will also have access to two dog parks, a pool, pickleball court, and bocce ball court.
The project team includes Humphreys & Partners Architects (Dallas) as the architect and Spring Valley Construction Company (Dallas) as the builder.
The community is anticipated to open in summer 2027.
