Construction Begins On Affordable Greystone Senior Living Apartments In Detroit

The $13 million community will comprise 49 units and is expected to open in 2027.

Cass Corridor Neighborhood Development Corporation (CCNDC; Detroit) held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on Greystone Senior Living Apartments in Detroit, according to a news release from the City of Detroit.

The affordable senior living community will house 49 units, including 24 one-bedroom and 25 two-bedroom units, in a new 4-story building.

Amenities will feature a community room, library, and outdoor green space.

The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
